Setting up child's Immunization Record

Hi All,

My 4 year old son will be arriving here on June-2016. He has complete vaccines from Pinas and is recorded in his baby book. Is that enough evidence so I can register him in centrelink/medicare?

Do I need to ask an actual official doctor's letter from his pedia in Pinas? Or do I need to find a GP here in Au that will translate those records for him so it will be officially in his Medicare records?

    i read somewhere that what they did is ask their Pedia for a certification of all the immunisation.. ito rin plan ko gawin... :)

  • muffles127muffles127 SydneyPosts: 168Member
    @joseph85 mareregister mo siya kahit di complete ang vaccine niya. Yung mga kulang niya dito nalang siya bibigyan ng GP.

    @muffles127 are the vaccines free?
  • muffles127muffles127 SydneyPosts: 168Member
    @joseph85 yung nasa national immunisation program lang yung covered ng medicare so yun yung mga normal vaccines hep b, mmrv, etc. so kung meron ka ipapavaccine sa kanya halimbawa hep a, babayaran mo yun kase di covered ang hep a vaccine unless andun ka sa exception nila na high risk and di ko na maremember kung ano nasa exception :)
