Sorry for the down-time kanina, I've sorted it out, everything should be back to normal.
Hi All, I hope everyone is well and also your family. As a way to extend help during this time of crisis, Visa Consort in partnership with Pinoy AU, would like to offer further reduced rate (for a limited period) to anyone who would wish to engage a migration agent service. If you have conducted your research, you know that their rate is one of the most affordable in the market. Please click here for more details about the offering.
Welcome to the New and Upgraded Pinoy AU Forum! We have only updated a couple of times since 2010. Apology it took some time. Some of the features are still being migrated. Please feel free to report here or email me at [email protected] if you will encounter any issues. Thank you.

Is it really just 9.90 for transferwise? I think they're charging a percentage of the amount being remitted and not a fixed amount.
  • AdminAdmin SingaporePosts: 1,613Administrator
Thanks peia for the input i will validate with transferwise :)

Transferwise fee of $9.90 is for $1000 remittance. It is lower for lower amount: $4.95 for $500; $4.00 for less than $408. You can download the app on your phone too. https://transferwise.com/w/9a7824

any comment on their experience with Transferwise? how long does it take for the money to be credited to your nominated account?
The transfer is completed and was scheduled today (June 22) but still the money has not been credited yet.

mas matagal if Metrobank yung receiving bank, usually will take 3 or 4 days bago ma credit sa Metrobank account. :)

    Orbitremit

    -- tested
-- one of the best rate. transferwise lang madalas na masmataas sa orbitremit kaso mataas charges ng transferwise habang lumalaki ang pinapadala mo
-- guranteed rate kahit s aibang bank pa galing ang funds mo sa pagtrnaasfer to their bank account. Iba kasi kailangan same bank kayong remittance para same day nila ma recieved at maibigay sa inyoyung same day rate.
-- FREE FIRST transction at $4 lang succeeding.

I select which one meet my criteria:
    -- lock in rate
    -- low fees
    -- high exchange rate
-- reliable (malalaman mo lng pag nasubukan mo na)

so far wala akong issue with orbitremit.

So far nasubuan ko na iremit tpos naging forex... now be
